Spotlight Legal Hub

Trusted information. A human next step.

A women-focused initiative operated by Spotlight Center for Law & Human Rights.

In development

The purpose

Making the first legal step easier.

The Spotlight Legal Hub is being developed as a mobile-first, Arabic-first pathway for adult women aged 18 and over, initially in Tripoli and Akkar.

It is designed to connect reliable general information with structured intake, guidance on documents, a lawyer-reviewed consultation pathway and appropriate referral when needed.

The Hub is part of Spotlight’s legal ecosystem. It does not replace lawyers: individual advice, interpretation and legal strategy remain the responsibility of legal professionals.

Listening before building

Women’s experience
shapes the design.

In Spotlight’s 2026 validation survey of 92 women:

79%

were from Tripoli and Akkar

62%

identified consultation cost as a barrier

63%

worried about the accuracy of legal information online

85%

valued affiliation with a known legal centre

These findings describe the survey participants; they are not a population estimate.
