About Spotlight
Legal practice, learning, research and institutional solutions—brought together around real needs.
Our identity
Spotlight Center for Law & Human Rights is an independent civil legal innovation company and integrated legal ecosystem, established in 2018 and based in Tripoli, Lebanon.
Spotlight is a Lebanese civil company governed by the Code of Obligations and Contracts. Its internal regulations state that it does not seek profit. Professional services are scoped and priced transparently; funded activities are delivered under their agreed terms.
Human rights are a core value that guides how we design legal services, technology, education, research and institutional solutions. We work with individuals and families, women and girls, civil society, schools, public institutions and private-sector actors.
The ecosystem
A consultation may lead to representation, mediation or a referral. An institutional assessment may lead to a policy, a complaint mechanism and staff training. Research helps turn lessons from practice into recommendations for wider change.
Our ecosystem connects these functions while preserving professional independence, confidentiality and lawyers’ responsibility for legal judgment.
